    Coronavirus

Well today in Melbourne out of hard lockdown (77 days) and now with a world record of 263 days of lockdown (nearly 9 months out of the last 19 months). Still in Auckland, where my mum lives, she tells me they won’t be released out of lockdown until they reach 90% double vaxxed - they’re at 68%.

    Favourite Wolves game(s)

1971 Wolves 5 v 1 Arsenal (Wolves were the best team in the world for 25 minutes) 1972 Wolves 2 v 1 Leeds Utd (the atmosphere was electric and the ground was rocking from start to finish) 1968 Wolves 6 v 1 Nottingham Forest (my first ever game at Molineux) 1972 Wolves 2 v 1 Ferencvaros...

The purpose of the NHS surely is to allow you to live your lives to the fullest and longest, without having to worry unduly about getting ill or paying massive bills for healthcare. It is there to treat you when you are sick and, from time to time, to check on you to make sure you are not about...

    Coronavirus

Well late this morning the Victorian Premier announced Melbourne will come out of lockdown at 11.59pm on Thursday, October 21st, as we will pass 70% vaxxed on this day. We should hit 80% vaxxed a week later on October 31st. It will mean our latest lockdown has lasted 78 days for a world record...

    Villa 2-3 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Not the greatest game, but those last 10-15 minutes were highly memorable for the pulsating excitement of our comeback. Surprised no-one has mentioned the comeback win against Man City, 2 seasons ago. 2-0 down, yes they were down to 10 men but it was fucking Man City. Probably the most...

    Coronavirus

Actually I am . . . but I believe it is an abomination that your status in society is being determined by a medical procedure. it’s not if your vaxxed then you can’t still can’t catch it or even pass it on.

    Coronavirus

Well at least you guys have some sort of normal life . . . it's still batshit crazy here in Oz. We're moving to a medical apartheid society where vaccine passports are being adopted. If you've not vaxxed, you will lose your job (here in Victoria) and simply will not be allowed to participate in...

    Coronavirus

Where were you planning to emigrate to ? In terms of the open borders in Oz, effectively it will be just NSW, Victoria, SA and NT - WA, Qld and Tassie seem intent on shutting up shop to the rest of Australia and the world until they get to 90%+ double- jabbed.

The following link is a compendium of some of the incidents involving Victorian Police attempting to uphold COVID health orders. Now, for sure, there is a certain element of ratbags amongst the protestors, but these series of clips are truly frightening...

    Coronavirus

Seconded . . . unless you're flying into Sydney (NSW) . . . Everywhere else you'll need to quarantine in a hotel room for 2 weeks (at your expense).

I really feel for you mate and your daughter. The impact of these incessant lockdowns will be felt for years.

    Coronavirus

Nope - lockdowns still on the agenda even when 80% vaxxed. Supposed to be a last resort but based on previous and current experience will be the first response. I don’t know how much more of this I can take. And, mind you, I’m not locked out of employment (I’m retired), living in cramped...

    Coronavirus

Waking up late today on a pleasant sunny spring day (I couldn't be bothered watching Wolves play Spurs overnight), it is now official that I am part of a world record - today Melbourne has now been in lockdown for 235 days beating the record of Buenos Aires. The target for us to get out of this...

    The Bruno Lage Appreciation Thread

Agreed . . . although I quite like what I’ve seen so far with Lage, but he’s been thrown under the bus, and when/if the results continually go tits up, he will suffer the fate that always befall managers when their club is facing relegation - which unfortunately I think we’re facing as we are in...

    Coronavirus

As I’ve been saying for a while, tensions in Melbourne are escalating, and now we are seeing some serious protests and anger, resulting in widespread chaos in the CBD. The construction industry is now fully closed for 2 weeks, across the entire state, and the union members have said they intend...

    Spurs build up/matchday

Given the lack of midfield options the club has (due to incompetent recruiting or lack there of) this makes perfect sense 👍

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford: Verdict Thread

Personally I think we may have way more bigger issues than Adama.

    Coronavirus

There's no doubt there's an element of those looking to pick a fight with the police but tensions here are getting very tense. Also, this coming Thursday Melbourne passes Buenos Aires as the most locked down city in the world at 235 days and still counting. Our Premier announced a roadmap to...
