O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

Yes but forget last season. We have 1 point and we probably won't get many in the next month. We leak goals at an alarming rate. We seem to be learning no lessons. That's what will do for him.

Our "easy" November has four fixtures, one against a promoted team at home which granted, we should be looking to win...and three fixtures we lost last season.
Absolutely yes. This season has been tough but we need to start picking up points here and there in the tougher games, or when the more "winnable" games roll around we're going to be under immense pressure to get points.

It's inevitable, unless we change the management structure at the club. I don't think Fosun need to put a penny more in, just let professionals run it. That's a Chief Exec who understands football, a DOF and Hobbs as Chief Scout but a grander title to not damage his ego. Then any decision on the manager takes cares of itself.
This. And this. And when done with that, a bit more of this.

Just asked them if they would prefer Hwang and Guedes over Jota and prime Jimenez?
I think that pretty much kills the argument dead in its tracks.
I’m not disagreeing with your general point, but hardly fair to compare 2 subs versus 2 starters.

I think they’re that arrogant and cocksure about everything that they think there will always be 3 sides worst than us. They’re negligent aresholes who deserve relegation
They're probably right for this season, but we're clearly circling the drain with this strategy.

I'm not sure who the three worse sides are. We could very definitely be depending on Everton staying shit.

As it is we are circling the drain a bit like Coventry did for years and how did that work out for them?

It was in reference to last season where Hwang was very much a starter, Guedes was in relation to this one

Who are they? Southampton yes Everton I think would argue they’re on par with us, Ipswich yes but are better coached.
Leicester probably. After that you’re really struggling to find sides who are worse than us. Fulham still have enough and are better coached, same for Brentford, Forest will be mid table with Nuno looking his got his mojo back.
This is all just on paper and not countering confidence, mentality and motivation basic human factors.

The 3 promoted sides plus probably Everton.

Sorry to keep banging on about it but I still feel, following their initial enthusiasm and ambition Fosun have lost interest.
I still believe O’Neil was employed with one eye on Championship football and that remains the case especially with his new contract.

Same Everton that would’ve come above us without points deductions last season?
They're struggling this season and the squad is worse than last season.

I think Leicester are better than us with GoN in charge.

This is thing if those it’s no more than fine margins really, so we’re very touch and go to stay up.

I think we have a squad better than any of those 4 and should comfortably stay up with a competent management team.

We don't have one of those at the moment and I wouldn't trust Hobbs to appoint one either.

Yep and that’s the problem, by the time they do act we will have probably eaten up half the seasons fixtures.

The longer they leave it, the farther along the 'competent ------> Good------->Excellent' scale we'll need to go. I don't think we can count on another Lopetegui type impact, particularly without the benefit of a big old break in the winter

What else can he say, we are underdogs in all bar about 6 games this season? Using the underdog mentality is about the only thing we've got, especially if confidence is shot, which it either is already or will be very soon.
