We rarely seem to sign the ones we get linked with over multiple windows I think. Just Guedes IIRC?

Right, aren’t we supposed to hate them? So beating Gary Smith is a win all around! 😇

    The Second Club Thread

We might not be great, but we're dang effective at home. Slight Wolves connection; Gary Smith (Nashville's manager) grew up in Walsall! So a very tangential win for all of us. Shout outs this week to ex-Wolf Nathan Byrne, who has become one of my favorite players at the club. He's not...

Guess I really need to get an Irvine shirt now, although Afolayan maybe appropriate for his heroics this morning!

Wolves 1-3 Crystal Palace: Verdict Thread

I actually think letting RAN cut in onto his strong foot could be a useful idea, though I'm not sure I'd park him there for an entire match. I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but the way we vacate central midfield like the players think it's the Hellmouth is really unacceptable at this...

Wolves 1-3 Crystal Palace: Verdict Thread

You're not wrong, necessarily, but I think it illustrates that getting into a discussion of "our form started on x day" is probably not going to get anyone anywhere. Which I don't mean to say that you're making the argument in bad faith or anything. Just too easy to move the goalposts around...

I held onto that hope for as long as I could, believe me.

Maybe I misunderstood the argument, I went back to the beginning of Feb. because that's (just over) 3 months ago. So 1.06ppg over the last 3 months, which is not form that screams "we'll be comfy next season" to me.

O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

The optics are shit, though. Whether or not they've let Molineux start to look rundown because they don't care, they've opened the door to that criticism on their own. Don't we want Molineux to look its best? Just as a general rule?

We're 5-2-9 since February fwiw. In the Prem, that is. 1.06ppg.

Your Trump navel gazing is more insulting than anything I could say. ✌️

Wildwood (and the Jersey Shore overall) has been a conservative stronghold for ages. Read a book.

Sunday trek through molasses, more like! I don't often find "<player> looks like they can't be arsed" arguments compelling, but that was next level nonchalance.

What in the world was Casemiro doing? Just lol'ing about 10 yards behind the defense.

I can't believe I've just been one-upped on Hwang praise.

He's simply not a focal point the way we've asked him to be since returning from his injury. Never has been. The best we can get from him in that role is a ton of work and the odd goal.
