The Summer 2024 Transfer Thread.

Fully expect 2-3 of our best players to be sold and replaced by cheaper downgrades and Jeff to try and tell everyone that we’ve been very active in the transfer window, sad thing is a lot of our fans will believe it.

You know what I mean. Generally we don’t tend to sign the players that we’re linked with for months & months. Occasionally a solid link will come out a week or two before Wolves finally get the signing over the line, but generally speaking they tend to only break a day or two in advance now (when someone like Romano gets hold of it).

I’d also hazard a guess that we won’t be signing anyone early doors because we’ll be holding out to see if anyone offers us what we want for Neto. I’d buckle up because I don’t think it’s going to be a very ‘fun’ window…

Someone on another forum who is usually quite well informed says Neto is already sold. That’s why he was not in the squad on Saturday; we did not want to risk him.

Sa has also been sold, he wasn't ill. Dawson is in the final stages of signing for Leicester as well, which is why he isn't playing. ✍️

Whoever leaves won’t surprise me and then we get another letter from Jeff pretending it’s all part of the plan

Which player has had a bost up with GO and has been told to leave?
 
I hope Neto gets a call up for Portugal. Risky taking him having been out so long and not able to prove his fitness, though.
 
Meanwhile we've been playing Doherty more in the final few months as there's a clause in his contract which guarantees him so many league starts per season.
 
What's all this about Cunha being in the doghouse?

He may be the one player that I'd be outright incensed if we got rid of.
