Yackity Yack, Let's Talk Zack

If they want to be more to politics than Shampoo were to music they’re going to need to distance themselves from this sort of cobblers come Big Vote time. They could do that I think, but this sorry episode is evidently misguided.
Politically misguided.

Nothing he said was wrong though.

Well then they would feel the consequences but considering he had been witnessed carrying out the act and was carrying a knife dripping with blood they were fairly confident he was the perpetrator

Despite how deserving the perpetrator might be, you can't go booting him in the head when he's already been subdued.

They didn't. He was still holding the knife and resisting despite tazers. Once the knife was released they didn't boot him in the head.

Completely legitimate and proportional.

The cunt just tried to murder 2 innocent people in the street because they believe in a different fairy story to him, they can kick the living daylights out of the cunt for all I care
That's not policing though. That's mob rule.

How should you subdue a maniac with a knife, without risking your own life and a colleague's

We expect the absolute highest standards from nurses, paramedics, Dr's, teachers etc yet the police seem to get a pass. Not sure why.

Not to mention they had no clue what other weaponry was in his possession. I don't know how you keep your defensive stategy in 'proportion' under those circumstances.

Whatever they'd done prior to the 5 boots to head I just posted had clearly worked so far. He was lay face down and not moving.

I have no sympathy for the bloke at all, obviously. He's a cunt and deserved the shoeing, but i am not comfortable with it being deemed acceptable and proportional by the police themselves.
