I had a Tory friend who voted for Brexit and literally voted for Truss to be PM (Tory member) say similar this morning.

He's absolutely devastated.

Yep, different times, and as an even more northern northerner not something I’m condoning. And it could be that those heart of England battleground constituencies I have in mind aren’t the targets of the future. All this stuff will come back to the economy at the big vote, I think, and it will be the age, age old question of trust on that. IMO.
