Obviously I'd prefer Cardiff to drop points too, but the Villa result is the main one out of those teams chasing. The gap to 3rd is the one we need to extend. I hope we can get another goal early in the second half, because I can see Villa coming out swinging in their game.

Brentford are playing all the footbal, Cardiff are playing in a typical Warnock style, get it up to the front players as quickly as you can (not always aerially) and win set pieces. They are very strong defensively and are winning plenty of second ball in midfield.

Johnny - Brentford are playing eye-catching but ineffective football, Cardiff seem to play a powerful game, but I wouldn’t call it one-dimensional at all.
