Wolves v Manchester Utd. 08/12 Build up and match thread

With our new coach playing hoof ball with a back seven, I look forward to seeing our immobile number 9, Strand Larsen, doing this against Man Useless....

This is a decent start at least. If enough people stay out and then come into the ground it's going to be noticeable and will be mentioned by comms, so fully support this.
And not before time. Fucking Norwich fans blocked players and officials in a car park the other week. We just give it lots of heavy sighs.

Fair play to them. It's easy to sit on a forum and sneer at things like this, but I hope it gets noticed.
Absolutely. Shame on those taking the piss. I think it’s fantastic that some are finally getting on at Fosun - impact or not, theres only so much the fans can do.

Hopefully it will snowball from here until they fuck off.

It's even easier to sit at home and do absolutely fuck all if you haven't paid for a ticket

Presumably some of these are season ticket holders though. And i understand wanting to go to justify the cost of the ticket over outright refusal. That is different to me refusing to buy a ticket or a shirt during the recent sale even though I was tempted.

I’m not sure what the right thing to do is but something does need to be done to show what we’re all feeling.

I’ve not missed a game home or away for a long time but i won’t be in my seat for the first 15 minutes Monday and hope as many people as possible do so as long as we can do it safely and sensibly. Got to be honest i do have reservations about whether our fans can do that but particularly in the Southbank with the concourse and smoking areas plus the space outside the turnstiles this should be doable.

I’d be right behind the protest outside the Billy Wright too if the message wasn’t displayed across the flags it has been so far which i can’t really get behind. We do need to get a message across though, whether it works or not is debatable but there’s nothing worse than just letting things go to shit without showing your feelings.

Should Cunha score, are we expecting him to celebrate like he's won the league (like Neto) or to have some respect despite the grief some fans will give him?

I’d like to think are defenders try and wind him up as we might have a chance of a point if he gets sent off!

He'll be booed every time he touches the ball so he can do whatever he wants really 😂

Good. Total mercenary that mugged us off.

Could never understand how people fell for that “new contract” bullshit that purely gave him a massive pay rise, a minimal buy out clause, and a definite exit plan.

Dont give a fuck, he's not a Wolves player anymore, this not celebrating goals boils my piss.

Did anyone fall for that?

I dunno?

Personally I got a lot of joy from watching Cunha in a Wolves shirt...I can't say that about a single player this season...

Oh, same, loved him as an amazing player and when he wanted to play for Wolves - just like I do with any Wolves player that gives everything for us, especially when they’re as brilliant as him.

And I have absolutely no problem with players leaving and wanting to better themselves, either (see Jota, Neves, Neto)……

But kiss the badge, tell us you love us……while sulking, mugging us off, and acting like a ten year old.

Classless.

I don't think he left as some kind of silent protest against how shit we're run and how unambitious we are.

It's no deeper than he thought he deserved to play for a big club and get more money and potential glory.

If he was that bothered about poorly run clubs he wouldn't have chosen Utd!

Where does Cunha sit for everyone else in terms of the best they've seen at the club?

For me if it's a front 3 I'm going Jota - Raúl - Keane. Shoehorning Keane into that a bit but he could definitely play that role. Cunha is probably first sub behind the 2 wide forwards though.
