Wolves v Everton 8/3, Build Up & Match Thread - Live on TNT 8pm

The options are what though?

Guedes who will frequently put in a performance that you wouldn't have down the park, with a permanent joke attitude and can't last more than 65 minutes. Hwang who has scored 3 goals in a year and is also criminal of some shocking general play. Sarabia who has never put together a coherent run for us. Forbs who isn't making the bench now as we don't want to play him because no-one here rates him.

You can argue for Rodrigo but he's only just back in training and hasn't played for a month.

Totally agree, no options. And suddenly that team looks horribly defensive without Cunha.

We’re playing with very little width and it’ll be hard to see where the goals come from.

The good news is that Everton side looks pretty rancid, too.

But there are options - you just don’t like them. Which is fair enough, but they exist.

I'll assume you'd agree with the back 8+JSL, so who would your other 2 have been?

Personally I think Bellegarde has to be one and I can see why against Everton you'd play Munetsi to defend set pieces even if that limits you attacking wise.

Playing Guedes or Sarabia now is like going to a 2 star hygiene rated takeaway, once in a while you'll get value for money, sometimes it'll be just a bit unsatisfactory, but more often than not you'll end up with the shits

Actually don’t think that 11 is that as. Wouldn’t have started with Munetsi just because I have no idea what he is. I also don’t hate Guedes as much as soon (hides from DW) so would’ve maybe had him.

Seeing the size of Beto quite happy with those 3 cbs, as for all of his faults doc is pretty physical and decent in the air.

Hoping JSL with more miles in his legs looks back at it

As above. I’m in for risking a dose of the shits with Sarabia and / or Mr Guedes. Despite everything.

Personally I would have picked JSL and Hwang with one of JRB, Munetsi, or even Doyle.
Width will come from RAN and Semedo; we want bodies in their area and an off form Hwang still offers as much as anyone else.
But whoever and however we start, there will be several substitutions before it's all over.

Guedes gives you a botulism burger for about £15 and an attitude that suggests you're lucky he's deigned to serve you.

No idea how he gaslights anyone, he's fucking dreadful and a horrible character.

This is going to have to change, width yes, crosses into the box less so. Need to play to JSLs strengths for the next 4-6 games

Well I'm going to be positive and while we will miss Cunha's ability to conjure something from nothing, I won't miss his attitude. I'm hoping we play more for each other and put the work rate in that will stifle Everton. I respect Moyes and what he has achieved but Everton are still a poor side and we should be capable of beating them. Plus, I want to avenge the GON horror show at Goodison.

Poor kid really didn't want to be led out by André huh :ROFLMAO:

I was aware my ‘unhappiness’ with the lineup would provoke completely understandable criticism of the alternatives. Fair enough. I just see no way we offer any sort of attacking threat whatsoever with what we have here. That’s an issue. Again, one I’m hopefully wrong about…
