Wolves v Everton 8/3, Build Up & Match Thread - Live on TNT 8pm

Another issue if Sarabia doesn't 0kay is he's our best crosser of the ball, and we really need someone who can find JSL in the box regularly from corners and open play. We're the worst team in the league for successful crosses statistically and playing JRB over Sarabia isn't gonna help that.

Plus JRB will naturally drift more fontrally and deeper, so JSL is going to be very isolated without another forward players around him. If JRB plays then I'd swap RAN/Rodrigo for Hwang to make more of a two up front.

Sarabia has one assist all season and wasn't a cross, we aren't missing out on anything
The eye test tells me he's our best corner taker. Plus he hasn't featured much so not surprising his output is low.

I share Lycan's frustrations because there's obviously a decent player in there, he just hasn't shown it for us.

He’d have doubled that if whoever he hit right on the forehead at Blackburn hadn’t t somehow managed to deflect it wide. Granted two isn’t much to write home about, it if we are going to actively change our attacking strategy (from, uhm…) then it’s worth considering the stats might not be very helpful.

Three questions in on the press conference (all about Cunha) and that's enough for Vitor. Snaps (politely) and says "are we here to talk about my team and the game this weekend or are we just here to chat about Cunha?" - Like that from him a lot.

- positive on first team. Agbadou, Marshall, Bellegarde, Rodrigo all available!

Vitor feels we are in a critical point of the season and must fight on the pitch to make the support and atmosphere come together. Wants to see the team show character of a Wolf (whatever that means).

He's not making excuses for Bournemouth but said Doc, Marshall, Bellegarde, Cunha, JSL, Nasser and those not even involved on the day - all had issues or shouldn't have been as involved as much as they were on the day. Was pleased with the fight shown but didn't think that was a 'normal' performance from his players in terms of his plan because of the issues. Happy to have "more solutions" available this weekend, even without Cunha.

That's a good explanation for the perceived (and fair) criticism of the negative tactics in extra time, why we went with Pond over Lima etc.
