Freed up or saved?!With Cunha, Sarabia and Semedo likely leaving in the summer, there's a good 400k a week of salary being freed up there.

The eye test tells me he's our best corner taker. Plus he hasn't featured much so not surprising his output is low.Sarabia has one assist all season and wasn't a cross, we aren't missing out on anything
He’d have doubled that if whoever he hit right on the forehead at Blackburn hadn’t t somehow managed to deflect it wide. Granted two isn’t much to write home about, it if we are going to actively change our attacking strategy (from, uhm…) then it’s worth considering the stats might not be very helpful.Sarabia has one assist all season and that wasn't a cross, we aren't missing out on anything

- positive on first team. Agbadou, Marshall, Bellegarde, Rodrigo all available!
Late check on Doherty's fitness

That's a good explanation for the perceived (and fair) criticism of the negative tactics in extra time, why we went with Pond over Lima etc. He's not making excuses for Bournemouth but said Doc, Marshall, Bellegarde, Cunha, JSL, Nasser and those not even involved on the day - all had issues or shouldn't have been as involved as much as they were on the day. Was pleased with the fight shown but didn't think that was a 'normal' performance from his players in terms of his plan because of the issues. Happy to have "more solutions" available this weekend, even without Cunha
