At the very same time Guedes accepted signing with him.

3 months later Guedes was signing with PSG and Horta was sent to MLS.

I get that you hate Mendes, but that doesn't change how bad he was at just about everything short of trapping the ball during his time in LA. The club took a $4m loss on him by selling him back to Braga after less than a year. And it was incredible that Braga paid THAT much for him, given just how bad his 15 appearances here were.

Apart from the final ball, playing OK. Looked nervous at first but controlled things from the 20th minute or so onwards. Crowd audibly anxious and frustrated though, which is understandable after the Chelsea game, but those final few minutes helped loosen everyone on and off the pitch (or at least it looks it on TV).

Cutrone is going to be some striker if he can click, eh.

Absolutely, should have been a booking.

MGW has been good, Cutrone has been lively, and Docs through ball for his chance was gorgeous. Having said that though, we’re too deep and too slow, need to step it up second half.

He was devastated when he was sent there. He was on Benfica starting eleven. And playing very well.

I'm not saying he is a world class player but he is certainly a quality player.
