If the forward is Mark Stein then it's the 3-3 draw with Oxford in March '91. Todd, Steele, Thompson, Bennett and Birch all played. Steve Foster in the background so it must be

I would have been there but had to look it up (getting old...). September 1990.

Went 1-0 down, were still losing 1-0 after 35 minutes. 3-1 up at half time!

Edit: Steele didn't score though. Bull 2 and Mutch.

Steele scored at home against Newcastle in November that season but that and the aforementioned Blackburn one were his only home goals.

Sadly we used to be weird with season reviews back then so the ever excellent Old Skool Wolves on YouTube only has the goals covering November to March (that's what we released on VHS, God knows where the others are) so the Plymouth game isn't covered.

That's the one, my lad was 8 at the time and loved it, I enjoyed the game but the state of the ground shocked me (hadn't been for 12 years). Lucky for us a certain wealthy gentleman stepped up not long after.

The first four years of my football attendance were sat in a stand that was 30-40 yards from the pitch, surreal when you think about it but meh, helps when you've got a bloke knocking in 30+ goals on his own every season.

I was always jealous of those in the John ireland - my dad used to send me to the front of the south bank to stand near/on the fence; you’d never think of doing that with a 7/8 year old now .

Then I went in the JI with my grandad one game and couldn’t see a thing, first time I realised I needed glasses!

That was excellent, some goals I had forgotten.

There was nothing sweeter then a Steve Bull goal, no wonder I ended up being a diabetic. OOH BULLY BULLY...

Watching that from 30+ years ago, and also the Wrexham v Grimsby goals from Saturday, it feels like the percentage of goals that are headers is higher outside the PL. Maybe because the players are less skillful and just lump the ball into the area?
