Tuesday U18s lose 7-0 to Man City, Friday U21s lose 6-0 and a missed penalty. Not exactly encouraging even if a couple of the U21s are with the first team.

Academy teams are there to provide experience so they are ready for the 1st team...they will all be well prepared by not being good enough to play in the PL and handling being beaten easily.

Reality is if you get one player coming through every couple of seasons the Academy is a roaring success. One good player isn’t going to win games on their own.
