Wolves Academy Thread

I think KJ is talking about the players currently in the 1st team, so a good chance he could depart.

Not sure Siggy is fully fit still though.

Edit: Siggy is fit, KJ has just confirmed

"And we have a good young left back in Sylvain Deslandes. He has some size and power, playing against Middlesbrough away (in the League Cup) and I felt acquitted himself very well, so they’re the players competing for that position at the moment.

"I wouldn’t hesitate to play him if I felt it was the right decision.

"He’s done very well (for the under-21s), the only thing that’s kept him out probably at the moment is the average age and the experience of the back four together."

KJ on Deslandes. Most likely he will come into the side alongside Williamson then if he does.

Thats the key insert Sylvain Deslandes when Williamson is fit so he learns in a settled back four not the rabble its been for most of the season.

Deslandes coming in with Williamson in means no Hause though who i would rather see.

Hause should be playing at centre back, not left back.
Ease him back to take the place of either Baath or EEL.

Iorfa-Williamson-Hause-Deslandes

Very young but they would compensate for Williamson's lack of pace and his experience would help them a lot. I've had enough of Batth now. He's declined terribly this season.

I thought the whole point would be to have Williamson next to Deslandes.

Iorfa - Hause - Williamson - Deslandes

Both centre halves wiuld be playing on the wrong side for their preferred foot. If Kenny is worried about putting Deslandes in because of the experience it will be next to Williamson and so Hause would not play. I'd rather see Hause if that is the case bit i wouldn't mind seeing both anyway.

I don't think Williamson really needs to be right next to him.

No but being on his side would help more than being on the other side. Just a simple case that he would see what Deslandes is doing more and would be easier to communicate with him.

Don't think he needs to be directly next to him either personally. Hause and Iorfa still need guidance too.

Well i wouldn't mind seen both Hause and Deslandes but if KJ is worried about the experience he would want to play Deslandes next to Williamson and wouldn't take Batth out either.

Experience is the key thing for me; KJ is of an old mind and I can't see him ever starting Hause, Iorfa, and Deslandes in the same back four.

Defenders Ryan Leak and Connor Johnson, midfelder Ross Finnie and forwards Joe Delacoe and Nicu Carnat have all been offered professional terms.

Think any of them are good enough to make it?

Heard a lot of good things about Carnat. There endeth my knowledge on this subject.

Never heard of Delacoe but the rest are mentioned regularly on this thread as potential first teamers.
