Ebanks-Landell, Hause, Evans, Price and Iorfa have all broken through into the first team in the last two seasons which is pretty strong evidence that if the club think a player is good enough to play in the first team then they are old enough. All have been rewarded with contracts that represent their status at the club. Keita has had a sniff of the bench...nothing more. I would be pretty sure that if he signed a contract now and then broke into the first team he would be treated like the others and be offered new terms.

If he thinks he can get a better deal elsewhere and he believes that is more important then fine, let him go. If he thinks he deserves more opportunities but the club don't, again fine - let him go, he may prove himself elsewhere or he may not. It's not like we are holding back a teenage prodigy....
