Wolves Academy Thread

'Second half goals from Nicursor Carnat and Bright Enobokhar sealed a 2-0 victory for Wolves U18s away at Manchester City this afternoon.'

Ennis is an under 16 playing for the u18s too I think, which is quite impressive.

Yeah that is pretty good going then, he a big lad they have thrown forward or a good player they have accelerated? (you still doing your coaching YW? not been in the grassroots section in ages)

I don't think he's that big but I've not seen him properly.

I am but having moved to Southampton for Uni I'm not doing as much as I usually do. Bits and bobs with an under 7s side, but got a coaching unit this semester which suits me well and also helping a club get on the FA Charter Standard programme in another unit as a project.

U21's currently beating Newcastle 1-0. Scored by Donovan Wilson. He seems to have slotted in rather well since joining from Brizzle Rovers

He's only 17, sounds like he has a good chance to make it here if he continues at this rate!

Yeah I wonder if he'll end up usurping Reid and Keita and being the next striker to break through.

Please tell me that that isn't a typo.

Connor Hunte misses a penalty (hit the bar)

Losing 2-1 now. Booooooo at Connor Hunte

Jesse Lingaard, sorry Aaron Simpson, scores right at the end for Wolves - 2-2 FT

:icon_lol:

Two seventeen year olds scoring for the u21s - results wise they haven't done that well but I like how many young players we have in that side. Upton and Hunte being another two who could still play for the u18s (and do on occasion)

This is point that is lost on a lot of our fans, who don't seem to be able to see further than the results.
