Thought I'd mention it in here - Wolves are doing some scouting in London. I got in touch with a scout through LinkedIn, and he told me they are targeting from 15-18 while keeping an eye on young age groups. I told him the club my Dad runs is called Walthamstow Wolves (for obvious reasons) and he wants to come down and watch our u14s at some point as I told him they are a very good technical group of players.

A young striker from Hayes & Yeading Utd impressed on trial last week, Wolves are really working hard on upgrading the scouting particularly around London.

Kenny Jackett and Joe Gallen must have hundreds of contacts that can be beneficial to Wolves.

I would imagine. Something that shouldn't be ignored is the college courses being run by professional clubs up and down the country. The course I was on and the team I was in even has produced three professionals (plus another who has gone to play professionally in the Phillipines), several others at semi pro sides and it was where Assombalonga was taken in to Watford's u18s from when he was 17. And he's now been worth nearly 8m or however much he has cost Forest and Peterborough. And I know other courses have had success stories too and I think clubs will start to pay more attention to them.

For anyone who wants to look at our new indoor training centre for the academy.

Looks really good to me, better than Reading's (right next to Madejski) which is really small but I always assumed that's for younger age groups. Spurs is the most impressive I've been too.
