Wolves Academy Thread

These tactics won't give us any idea at all of how good these kids are.

How has Torras played? Turned on as he was taken off :(

The likes of Whittall, Kellerman, Iorfa have been there a while without ever making an impression on first team - with a fair few players pushed up to first team think that group needs refreshing

He looked good on the handful of occasions we managed to get the ball to him. He played a couple of quite searching balls from the CM. As I said a few posts back, taking him off was a baffling decision.

He's looked okay.

No one has really looked good (okay at best).

Iorfa has been very good, on second thought.

Forde and Parry have been creative but are isolated and no one seems to keep up. Keita on for Reid.

4-0 FT

Pretty terrible tbh

I read that at Albion all under 21 players are English, non have been bought from other clubs and 90% of them have been at the club since age 12. That must be an easy model to sell to youngsters and their parents. Fair play to them for that.

Wouldn't be in favour of a totally English side myself. Restricting yourself and your work force is never a good idea in the majority of industries/sports.

WBA U21 0 - 1 WOLVES U21 - HT

Bradley Reid Header.

On another note, Aaron Birch, for WBA went to my High school, class player!

Well we don't like your friend!!! ;)

Be nice for them to win this one, been on a bad run which is never good for confidence

Good result for the 21s. Hopefully this leads to an upturn in form over the next few games. We need to push for the top half and stay there.

Wolves: Flatt, Iorfa, Cranston, Jakobsson, Tank, Elokobi (capt), Bancessi (Kellerman 53), Kostrna, Reid, Whittall, Parry.

Unused subs: Torras, Keita, Hause, Erdei.

Hausa on the bench? Excellent

It was well worked, but I think that the Albion defence must have gone to sleep, giving a free header like that.

I wouldn't really say he's gone to sleep but the defender doesn't anticipate the first time cross at all so even though his starting position isn't too bad by the time he reacts to the cross coming in the Wolves player has already peeled off the back of him and he's screwed. Gamble by the forward paid off.
