Wolves Academy Thread

Whilst it was just training videos he looked impressive in the one they put up of the shooting and movement exercise.

Our under 21's have been drawn against Porto, Valencia, Wolfsburg & Celtic as part of the 22/23 Premier League International Cup.

Our home games are at Molineux, 7pm kick offs.

I've no idea what the "PL International Cup" is or if we had to do anything to qualify for it?

We were in it a couple of years ago, I went when we played PSG at home

Be interesting to see how the U21s line up later. Tough game against Chelsea. I imagine Mosquera will play. Cundle and Campbell probably too.

Unless Toti is off on loan somewhere I think he'll play. Wasn't even on the bench on Saturday.

We may as well play Ronan too.

Never heard of Scicluna. Anyone know much about him?

pretty sure him and his brother are Australian. Were both in the academy a few years ago, left (maybe went to live in Australia) and came back.

I think they went home during COVID or something and stayed there for a while

Yeah they are, his brother is Lucas. Coached them a few times when they came over. They both signed for Villa but didn’t like it and have been at Wolves ever since. From what i can gather they went back to Aus during covid and played for Melbourne City.

No idea how good Lucas is now but i always thought he would be better than Dylan and regularly was playing 2 ages up.

Fair to say the young lads got proper thumped tonight
