I'd like to think our U23's were made up of majority 17/18 year olds as if they are good enough then they would be able to step up to a first team squad in a short time. I think playing the likes of Samuels is no good to anybody, least of all the player as it's not helpful to his career and is only a body in the squad.

Carty got injured in the last game and that's my point really. We have no strikers in the youth teams that can step up which is odd.

Dadashov will probably play when he gets back to fitness. All the u18 strikers play for the u18s at the moment, I think they've got a very busy schedule and they're battered with injuries too.

Dadashov should be out on loan really as he was before he got himself injured (not that he'll be good enough for Wolves at any point I don't think).

Cheers, put the 2nd half on whilst working at my desk. If anything it's given me a greater appreciation of Silva, as he is way about that level. Some okay glimpses in what I saw but mostly it looked like players who won't trouble the prem without significant develop.

Left winger/wide left probably stood out most. (granted I was also eating lunch and marking exams at the same time)
