Solid debut. On a different level to many of the mugs in our team. Compare him to Hwang, for example.

Point is he’s been poor more than he’s been good and just shouldn’t be here. Fans player of the year well that was a long time ago. His good times were in a very niche position for him when asked to be a genuine RB he’s not been able to do it. Yep good under Nuno in a great side. Outside of that a lot of poor stuff.

Nuno was happy to move Doherty on as he saw that he was one of the weaker links in a team that finished 7th. He did well in those two seasons but his half arsed attempts to get back from forward forays stood out in a team that was otherwise fully committed. We should never have re-signed him as though he did a decent job for a few games at right CB last season his lack of pace means he should never have played at RB or RWB. It really is incredible that some fans think we should keep him as a steadying influence next season - we saw yesterday that steady and Doherty are strangers.

Very worrying that RE keeps picking Hwang. Hopefully, that`s the end of Doherty in a RB position. Think we are heading for a mid table finish in the Chump next season if RE is still in charge. Any transfer windows still open where we can offload some dross?
