Well when you are passing it wrong on the half way line letting them other team attack it stands out...thankfully Palace were rank so he chose the best game to have a "learn from your mistakes" session.

not to be a negative nancy but it's a bit disappointing to come away with that 1-0 versus a team that didn't want to be there for most of the game. was hesitant about recalling cutrone but todays game solidified that it was the correct decision.

nice to get the win, hopefully can put together a few more

Another plus point and one I raised earlier. Cutrone came on and twice we tried the ball he wants down the side of defender. Never got it right for him but early signs we will try and play to his strength.

Never hear him shout "keeper" though. A couple of games recently when he didn't and players knocked it out for a corner. Ruddy is very vocal.

We were sitting in and not doing much at the time in the knowledge that we could keep Palace at arm's length without any trouble, did put himself about a bit though and looks in decent shape.

Batshuayi is absolutely shit, how much did Chelsea pay for him?!

Good first half, less so second. We didn't really look in any trouble at any time.
Pity Silva couldn't get on the score sheet but at least now he has someone to take some weight off.
Semedo was terrific throughout, I'll probably get pelters but thought RAN had a poor game overall, fine when turning back to play an easy pass but want to see more.....but he's young so I'm hopeful he'll improve.
Traore was good too, seemed to be coming inside more which left room for Semedo, great goal. Ruddy did everything required of him.
Everyone else was fine.
Not enough time for MGW and Cutrone to show much, especially as we'd stopped creating much by then.

Negative Nancy - we made a few good chances, we played well enough.

Ruddy is louder but Rui does talk a lot just had a spell in December where comms failed at times

I've watched Silva every game he has played, and I think it's a waste of a shirt. He's always on the back foot and doesn't 't read the the game very well.

Clean sheet and a goal for Traore. Job done. Fabio needs a goal, I am worried that his confidence is being destroyed as he keeps snatching at chances but I still think he generally looks alright.
I think we massively miss the threat of Jota and Raul on the break when we sit back on a lead, we just don’t seem to be able to create many opportunities now whereas the last two seasons we used to be able to kill games off on the break.
