Wolves 1-0 Chelsea: Verdict Thread

How can the single out 3 people? Surely it was more like hundreds singing it?
Hundreds break the speed limit every day, a few get caught! Only needs three to send a message it won't be tolerated. With CCTV hopefully plenty more are considering their actions today and in the future.

Best comment I’ve just had “the chant can’t be offensive because it wasn’t directed at one person”
I mean it’s pointless arguing with people with that opinion nor is it possible to educate them.

Just imagine applying this logic elsewhere.

"I mean, we weren't directing the drone strike at any one person in particular..."

My surname is Dyke so numerous people all Wolves fans I’ll add are telling me I should change my name because it’s offensive.
Yeah great not actually heard that since high school.

I think we all agree that the club has morons, as do all clubs and society in general. And as we all agree, shouldn't we be talking about the fantastic win we got today?
The moronic chanting shouldn't hijack the thread.

It should be denounced in no uncertain terms.

Although I do think we've accomplished that now.

Looks like he's bothered 👍 maybe he can 'kick on' and become a Wolves great.
I can't imagine anyone scoring a goal like that isn't going to go a bit mad with their celebration.

Thought: without Neves on the pitch the game didn’t turn into a series of angry, personal feuds with the ref, the opposition and the opposition bench. Maybe?

Haven't seen the goal yet, can't wait to see it.
That's what the big money was paid for, still owes us though.
I have to say, although there have been some crap performances this season, when things have gone well, there has always been a lot of celebration and 'pile-on' from all players, which has to be a good sign.
That was the case even under Lage.

Probably because we were winning.

We’re not a better side without him nevertheless it was good to see others step when needed.

Don’t think anyone was bad. João Gomes the pick. Also enjoyed Toti’s performance and some key bits of defending from Kilman, Dawson and Semedo.

The midfield just seemed better. Less desire to play CB from anyone. Which then meant we were able to play more In their and compete.

Thought Costa led the line well first half, did what we needed him to and what none of the other options can/will do. Weird hate for him again today.

Only negative is we wasted some good opportunities to break and grab a second goal. Or even some good opportunities in the first half where we’ve not even managed to get a shot away from promising positons. Also despite just generally wanting it more and being better than them it’s taken a worldy strike to win it and we didn’t really make Kepa work for anything else.

However they were a bit of a shambles and didn’t have anything at all to offer apart from a few flashes across the box which were blocked or just missed. Very passive, nothing team.

No doubt there will be loads saying it’s “PC gone mad”
Sorry using one phrase that’s derogatory towards a group within the LGBT community with sole purpose to cause offence to opposite fans isn’t PC gone mad.
Basically those morons are stating they wouldn’t accept a gay player, manager, owner or fellow fan.
Fully agreed and the odds are that within our playing ranks there is someone gay. I am not inferring anything, just stating the obvious.

Sky Sports highlights if anyone wants a view of the goal.

Also I get it's not ideal but I'd keep with Costa. I mentioned this before in the build up when I was supportive of the team selection, but todays goal and the Forest one come via targetting him in that central area.
