Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Not a single player who started today can look themselves in the mirror and feel anything other than disgust tonight - Larsen's obviously the worst offender, but the rot's endemic.

Whatever the situation is that leads to Larsen swanking about the pitch and Tolu sitting on the bench is nothing short of an embarrassment for whoever's responsibility it is, whether it's whoever drafted Larsen's contract, or whether it's Edwards for sincerely making that choice.

I hate these players bar Mane and Tolu.
This manager is another clueless PE teacher type coach.
I knew full well they’d back last weeks efforts with this utter shambles.
They play like cowards, make decisions like amateurs and have no skill set.
The embarrassing moments just keep coming, RE home record reads 0-2, 0-1, 1-4, 0-2. He’s overseen us score 2 and concede 12. All this whilst playing an identical set up, big clue Rob it ain’t fucking working. Stop picking Hwang on the basis he trains well evidence is in your face that he’s shit every game day.
Second to every ball and the worst side I’ve seen in possession. Playing Hoever and Doc in your defence as a PL side is comical.
League 1 sides would’ve had joy v Them.
Krejci isn’t that good at all either very indecisive and at fault for the first goal.
JSL pls fuck off and never darken our door again. Lopez sorry if he was signed in the Nuno era we’d have loaned him back to another club to get experience he just isn’t ready or strong enough.
As someone who comes from Wolverhampton and grew up a few miles from the ground and has a family history supporting the club going back to it’s inception this is an utter humiliation that cuts very deep.

He looks like he’s learning on the job. It’s a shambles. Evidently our squad is woeful, but setting up like that is unforgivable. Even if he’d changed it at half time you’d have to say his judgement is inexcusable. It was predicted precisely when the lineup came out, this isn’t the benefit of hindsight.

First time in Molineux for over two decades today (I know) and at least got the full experience.

Thought Hang was actually one of our better players in the first half, linked play better than usual and most of his tricks seemed to come off. Other players that gave something approximating a decent effort were Gomes, Wolfe, Mane and Tolu.

Our situation at right back is so bad. Hoever was atrocious. Can't play forward at all and barely constitutes a body at the back.

Larsen just awful, needs benching straight away. Just strolls around, occasionally sprinting for something he'll never get to as if to prove a point. Penalty was awful.

Absolutely doomed. But still, despite everything was good to be back after so long.

Constantly being switched between centre half and midfield is doing him no favours.

Who'd have thought only having two central midfielders on the books would have been a problem?

Yep doesn’t help but I think he barely makes the squad of any capable PL team.

That first goal was amazing tbf, Bueno and Krejci both defending like they can only see in 2d. Jokers. Tbf you could pick any five minute spell in that season and do a dissertation on the incompetence that's displayed across the pitch, but obviously it stands out more on goals

We have no players capable of doing anything offensively. The absolute best case scenario in any given scenario is that we keep possession. But not a single one of them can make anything else happen.

Well Edwards has achieved the seemingly impossible and made us worse. Five at the back with no threat from the wing backs apart from the occasional ball in from Wolfe (that usually doesn't clear the second defender), two deep lying CMs who offer nothing going forwards and André has become a complete coward just moving the ball on to the nearest Wolves player as soon as he can regardless of whether its a good idea or not. The front three are totally isolated and would deserve a little sympathy but for the fact they can't control a ball, hold a defender off or win a header.

Krejci has adapted well, from looking like he was half decent he, now fits into the team perfectly. It's a total shambles without the merest whiff of anything to be optimistic about other than Mane and he'll have a year left on his contract in the summer so will probably sold. Anyone who thinks Edwards is the man to put this shit-show right is more deluded than a cricket fan who still thinks we can win the Ashes.

Mick McCarthy had us playing for 0-0s at the back end of 2009/10 when we only needed a handful of points. And he got them. Horrible to watch but job done.

We can't play for 0-0s so why is that the gameplan, week after week? And even if we could, what fucking good is it to us now?

No plan, crap tactics, yes the players are shit (and that's a club failing) but we don't have a clue what we're doing, to the point I've rarely ever seen such ineptitude from any professional team.
