Wolves 0-0 Fulham: Verdict Thread

Saw it on feed.

Podence and Gibbs-White not good enough. Never were. Pointed out 2 years ago.

Defence - give them time

Guedes - panic signing and more of a happy movement ( if you catch my drift)

I'll call it early - we are going down if they don't add to the squad.

Not entirely convinced that the three worst than us rule is applicable and look forward to read those that were there. I sincerely hope they are consuming ales and looking to a decent curry.

Bruno - "we did one more time a great performance, got players one on one and even without the goalkeeper and couldn't score. I see how we are playing the right way and the goals will come"
I`ll have what he`s having.

Best keep your happy movements to yourself really

This is utter nonsense and I would in fact argue the opposite. Our defence was good. The problem was everything that happened in front of it.
Yeah, by saying Sa is trusty loses all credibility. He’s anything but. But I still love him.

I don’t think we were as bad as people are saying, equally I don’t think we are as good as Lage is saying.

Regarding X goals, not sure what MGW counts as, but that’s pretty clear cut, and also pod/Neto should be fashioning a better opening.

I know its not easy to sort out but we've been abysmal scoring goals for over 2 seasons now and it seems not much has changed.
Too early too criticise Guedes but something has to change or wim fucked.

Just re watched the highlight (missed the first half)

Neto and hwang both semi decent chances both go near post. Wrong option

Neto and Podence, no idea what they’ve managed there

MGW should score

We should be 2 up comfortably there IMO

2 games in and so far Wolves haven't generated enough enthusiasm in me to watch the 'high lights' if there are any.
It's coming to something when I watched MOD to see if City were as good as they said they are.
Really don't want to listen to those pundits saying how grim we are...

Even when we looked like scoring we didn't look like scoring.

Fairly good fieat half but nothing exceptional, probably should have been in front without doing much to suggest we should be in front.

Second half was largely a mess tactically with the plan seemingly just put more attackers on and hope that one of them scores.

Collins and Kilman look fine. The full backs don't. Nobody up front comes out with much credit.

Man of the match for me was Dendoncker and I have no idea why...

I haven't seen a single minute of either game, but the reports and results make me feel quite despondent. It seems like my worst fears could be realised and that we really are in for a struggle of a season. Already it seems difficult to find 3 sides worse than Wolves.

First half was fine, entertaining even. Should have a goal up at least.

Second just petered out in a tetchy mess. We’re crying out for a new midfielder and a focal point up top, but everyone knew that already.

Bruno didn’t make MGW miss, or Neves nearly hit the corner flag from a free kick etc

Semedo and Guedes to start next game pls and hopefully someone with a bit of presence as Pod and Neto and MGW all a bit samey

i thought it was bad watching our match, but what about Manure, 71% possession and 4 nil down !!!!!

There just aren't enough goals in the team. We knocked it about OK to a point at times but we had what, three proper chances? And Fulham gave us one of them.

The centre halves look good, MGW was our best player first half but faded, Neves was Neves...but you can't see us winning many by more than a goal as it stands, and relying on those kind of fine margins is very dangerous.

For the second week in a row we've failed to beat poor opposition and I can't complain that we didn't win, but at the minute I can't pin too much on the manager. He has what he has and it's not enough. But no one survives the kind of record he has (P16 W3 D3 L10) for long, and we'll probably lose next week too.
