That's a silly comment, of course Hudson has an opinion based on playing with Mason. Others will have opinions based on watching. I will trust a scout or manager 10 times out of 10 over a player, team mate or not. Players are paid to play not to buy or sell players.

Some players still think Jackett is doing a good job. Most players aren't very bright. Some fans are extremely knowledgeable, more so than some managers. So how about some credit for those fans with an educated opinion instead of just trusting a manager/ player/ press mouthpiece?

Not a particular pop at you NWW, more at those who think the club can do no wrong.

If he has more mental strength that Keogh he will do ok then. What ruined AK was the crowd getting onto him and in the end he was terrified of making a mistake or not scoring.

True. Ward had the same problems with the crowd but was a stronger character, incredible how he kept going despite the abuse he got.

Mason may need to produce quickly though, I'm not sure the fans will have much patience right now if he starts slowly

I know Mason is older than he was at the time but Danny Ings had a similar reputation before he had that one breakout season for Burnley. We obviously feel he has similar potential if we're spending this sort of money on him.

I'm not exactly blown away by this but all the noises coming out of Wolves suggest that they feel they've pulled a bit of a diamond out of the rough. Of course they raved about Tommy Rowe as well so...
