Cruella 2 can’t help herself can she. Rather than just condemn the violence she has to put out the possibility that they bought it on themselves. Surprised she didn’t mention that if they hadn’t come here it would never have happened.

I don't see what she's said wrong.

The protests were about alleged behaviour of some young male asylum seekers to young girls in the area.

However misguided the reason for the protests (and I have no idea if there has or hasn't been bad behaviour) she's only stating the facts, unpalatable as they are.

It's a fairly obvious & deliberate attempt to create division & draw attention to the alleged behaviour or in other words, rumours. It's a comment designed to stoke tensions, not induce calm.
