interesting to see 4 centre forwards on the pitch and always seemed to be at least 3 or 4 players in the box for attacks - heady days indeed !!!

Interesting bit of film.
Saw Norman Bell score a couple away at Southampton at the Dell (Ding Dong Dell - sorry, I’ll get me coat, although it’s true he did bag a couple).
Also noticed on the film that whilst the edge the pitch on the Molineux Road side seems about the same as today, the touch line on this side (Waterloo Road) was a lot further in so there is quite a lot of grass outside the playing area unlike today.
I think we used to have one of the widest pitches in the league, and may have again now.

You have to remember that the old stand was built right close to the road (actually really unsafe looking back! Although it was closed anyway by the time I started going)
