As this isn't an ordinary season and there was a bit of chatter on another thread. Then why not have a poll?!

I think with Kane and Son back Spurs might get above us but I’ve gone for 6th as think we’ll hold off Sheff United and the rest. I feel like our run in isn’t as soft as I thought it was when I had a look the other day though.

Haven't the foggiest. All prior form goes totally out of the window. Could be fourth, could be midtable.

We will benefit from the rest but so will other teams. I went for eighth as I said that at the start of the season. I think!

Interesting looking back to the start of the season, I went 8-10 with an optimistic side bet of 6th but didn't really expect to be challenging 4-6....looks like I was a bit pessimistic. Difficult to call from here obviously, we just don't know how the layoff and subsequent return will affect teams but I'm feeling more optimistic and a little bit gungho so I'm going for 5th

I don't think we'll lose a game, but can see a lot of draws. 15 points, 3 wins 6 draws and a 7th place finish.

I trust Nuno and his staff to be one of the best prepared in terms of ensuring the players are conditioned right for this run of games, in such a short space of time but it's still so hard to tell.

I've gone with sixth, we have two less games than Sheffield United at least, so we might edge them out for it. We are on track for about 57 points again which I would be happy with

Fat thumbs, hit bottom half but meant fifth!

It's just almost impossible to predict. I would hope with were within range of Chelsea going into the last two games as life could get very interesting indeed at that point.

That would be excellent, I'll vote for that then

Think that we are capable of fighting off those below us now (& yes we might be a bit rusty, but so will everyone else)

As Paddy says get within a point or so of Chelsea with the last game coming up & they really won't fancy that.

I thought we’d finish eighth at the start of the season, so now thinking fifth shows we’ve done brilliantly.

I have faith that we’ll start this new set of fixtures well because our rehabilitation team are amazing, and we’re used to playing every other week whereas the majority of teams aren’t, so we have two advantages that allied to the fact we’re actually bloody good will see us pushing for the champs league spot. Won’t be easy though, so I have us just missing out.

All that “playing so many games will catch them at the end of the season” stuff is gone now too.

Looking at their fixtures it's United who will finish 4th rather than Chelsea.

During OGS's tenure it's the weaker teams that they tend to struggle against? Although not having a hostile crowd at away games may well benefit them.

Our small squad and how quickly the games come at us might have an impact, but for now, I've gone for 6th.

I'd be astonished if any team benefitted from the rest. These are elite athletes who've had subpar training regimens for months- the last few weeks will only do so much.

I would rather be going to an empty Stamford Bridge on the last day needing something than going there with it full and hostile, let's say. But Chelsea themselves would say the same about Anfield the week before.

It'll be interesting to see how it effects different teams, both positively and negatively.

Thinking back to that Swansea home game in possibly Mick's last season in charge, one of their goals was almost directly as a result of the home fans getting impatient. Swansea were just knocking the ball around in nothing territory, Wolves sitting behind the ball and just watching them do it until the crowd started getting riled that some new boys were dominating the ball on their patch, then someone (Hunt maybe?) broke rank and charged at the ball mindlessly, quick little triangle around him and created the overload that lead to the goal. There's a fair chance someone like Hunt, if it were him, would go charging mindless after the ball like a yappy terrier anyway but without the peer pressure from the crowd perhaps not? Might not have made the match any better viewing but perhaps a more restrained Wolves team would've seen it out comfortably watching a fairly average Swansea team play possession football in safe areas instead of feeling forced to try and do something about it.

Well Spurs could have son and Kane back for starters. Others on the treatment table may well be back too for other teams. And fixture clog won't matter. That said we hit the ground running last July so I am hopeful. We are hard to beat but draw plenty. Three points for a win suits those who win and lose but don't draw.

I think we will do ok with neutral venues as we play the same way home or away regardless. I think our results were fairly equal in terms of points.
