West Ham United (A) 01.09.2018

Will the home fans be likely to start turning already or are they giving the new gaffer time? Think we'll frustrate them and if the crowd start to turn might be time to cash in.

I can't help but have contempt for WHU on the basis of their ugly, sneering and snide leadership so I'd like to win this one that little bit more.

Do we know if Jonny just cramped up or did he pull up with something?

We need to be taking 3 though. Regardless of who we have played so far, we need that 1st win before the break. Don't want to be sitting on 2 or 3 points from 4 games.

They gave them shit the moment Bournemouth levelled, so patience is not something their fans currently have

Jonny just had cramp

They've been absolute dogwank at home ever since they moved to their peppercorn rent, taxpayer funded athletics stadium so it's never a happy place.

They have some decent players but Pellers also likes to play the world's slowest, most ineffective midfield and at least one war crime of a centre half, so they have plenty of issues that are unlikely to be fixed in the next five days.

There fans already doing a Prem fan style and falling into 'will win this because its Wolves' territory from what I have seen around a few places.

If we could have the sort of start we had against Leicester but get a goal we could have this lot booing by half time. Same team for me if there are no injuries, but hopefully Dendoncker on the bench.

I'd take a point right now despite their tough start, I rate Pellegrini and on their day they can still be good. If we start like we did against Leicester and score one or two against them early they could crumble so a win is achievable but right now I would be happy to draw away to a team that I thought would be pushing for top 10 like we would. They've lost 3 games yes but it's not like they were expected to get anything from 2 of those.

Being an eternal pessimist, we have over the last few years been very good at breaking teams bad runs. Remember the time Portsmouth visited when they hadn't scored a point early season and we rolled over for them. I am not even as optimistic as Cyber on this one probably 2-0 defeat again.:eek:ldboy:

I think that's fair to be slightly pessimistic to be honest. Loads seem to be losing their heads because of City. As great a performance as that was it isnt the sort of blueprint that will translate to a game away from home where we should be expecting much closer possession stats.

Ideal 2-1 Wolves
More likely 1-1

Our first win of the season, and if Arnautovic misses the game it’s a massive plus for us. They have created a fair few chances in their games but just can’t stick them away, I think we’ll be a lot tighter at the back and will play on the break which won’t suit them at all as we could bypass their midfield with swift counters. 2-1 to us I reckon.

We are a much better team than these simples, they are already under serious pressure from their fans who feel as though they have been let down tragically by the porn baron. After Citeh game having seen that our stage fright has eased, I would be gutted if we lost to WHU so I predict 3 nil to us.

This one is very winnable, though they have a few decent players. They will feel as though they should win as well which will hopefully make them more adventurous to the benefit of Jota/Costa/Traore. Not taking anything for granted but I'd be disappointed if we lost.

This will be a different kind of test. West Ham will feel they should win this, and we think we should be getting a result.

There'll be more pressure on this game than the city game. Arnoutovic being out will be a big loss for them. From what I've read Wilshere hasn't been great in their midfield for exactly the reasons you'd expect

I think Noble might be nearing a return for them, he really makes them tick

Noble is absolutely pips these days. World class at pointing, a budding Kevin Nolan in terms of bawling at referees, taken plenty of cues from Paul Ince in the raw PASHUN stakes, but he's shit at actual football.

If noble and Wilshere start as the midfield 2 we should be winning this.

This in spades, Wilshere has been hopeless and Noble is way over the hill. Plus they will be attacking and are getting used to a new system/new players.
Pellegrini has his way of playing and won't revert to Moyes tactics good time to play them they won't be in trouble.

100% I would not be taking a point right now. These are the games we need to be winning (and I think we will).

Same for me really. Take each game as it comes but after the City game it feels like they've all raised their game so got to go and get something against them now.

2-0 win would do,but I want us to just play them off the park, fuck em and the West Ham way,we won the World Cup bollocks
