West Ham (A) Match Thread

Saying he doesn't have a footballing brain is a legitimate criticism though which is what he said.

That's not what was said, though. Say he lacks football intelligence. Don't say his brain is dinosaur sized or not connected. Simple.

We made them look poor, West ham made arsenal look $#@! at times last week and arsenal were very lucky to win. We always looked the better team today.

Great way to go into the break.

West ham are in trouble. That lot need to gel and quickly.

Good finish from Traore and he asked them more questions than Jota and Cav combined. Jimenez worked very hard again but fucking appalling miss. Midfield and defence fab.

Actually that was EXACTLY what I was saying. And I used an analogy that you have taken issue with. Which is fair enough.

Honestly, I would prefer I had typed it differently in trying to get my point across, but hey ho, it's on the forum so I must live with that. Take the piss if you wish. I won't be offended.

Anyway. What a result. I am off to take the piss out of my brother who is a massive Hammer and will have got up at stupid o clock in Brisbane to watch that.

Out for most of the day & deliberately didn't check on the score till it had finished - no idea how we played, but an away win (against anyone in this league) is not a bad result at all

Particularly if you do in extra time so they have no right of reply!

Paddy wasn't on about his general intelligence as a human being though is he? Don't know why you would even choose to interpret it that way. Seems like a silly thing to get worked up over as it is very clear what was meant.

Edit: As Paddy says otherwise I will withdraw but still find it an odd thing to be offended over.

Can't understand the criticism of Traore when he did more in 20 minutes than Jota and Costa have done in 4 games. Jota in particular needs dropping, he's been woeful.

Agree.

Ditto.

Emotions running high and all that. Just a line I hear a lot that IMO comes off really poorly.

Anyway Alan it doesn't matter I hope :pint2::burp::wolves: to celebrate a great day.

I actually agree with Alan, I wasn’t offended by the remark but it came over to me as very insulting and not very supportive to a player who every time he has come off the bench for us has improved us by making more dangerous.

Personally I just saw it as typical overthetop football banter...people seem very easy to offend these days

Don't care about the words, the opinions just wrong
