Vitinha next to Neves?

Donk, Coady, Saiss back three?

Oh well, at least we might get to see Vitinha & RAN play

Good chance Otasowie/Vitinha/MGW get some decent minutes

So…

Rui
Saiss - Coady - Kilman
Semedo - Neves - Donk - RAN
Traore - Jose - Neto

?

Fair to say it’s not what I would play too.
Tbh, I don't blame him but I'd rather just play a back four with the available options and give one of the younger guys a go in midfield with Donck and Neves. Problem is previous results with Semedo-Coady-Saiss-RAN back four didn't go brilliantly

ACL and MCL for Jonny from an “innocuous tackle”. Sounds like MGWs been putting in the two footers again and we won’t see him for 6-9 months either!

Obviously more severe a problem than the original but it shouldn’t be career ending.

The issue is what they use to graft the new ligament with. They’d have used his hamstring tendon for the original, but they wouldn’t be able to use more hamstring as it will already be about 80% weaker (from memory, might be wrong on that). They used to use patella tendon but this was always littered with problems so they stopped doing it, so this is an option, but what might be a better option is using the hamstring tendon from the other leg.

I’m not sure if there’s ability to use “artificial” graft as an alternative. But I assume not (or certainly not as successful) as they’d do this in the first instance
As far as I know it's hamstring for the first (BF) and nylon for the second. Still use the same fixings (unless they've failed).
