Welcome to Wolves Matheus Cunha

Cunha is a very good player, but let's not pretend he would have kept us up on his own if GON was still the manager. He'd just have scored a great goal or two in some 2-1/3-2 defeats while we competed with Southampton for bottom spot.

Vitor coming in and making us a team (which includes Cunha, when he doesn't get himself suspended) is what kept us up. I wouldn't say we're better off without him as it stands, but if we invest the money properly we can be a better team

I remain convinced a player should only ever post 2 things on their public accounts:

1. Great win/ draw today, the boys really worked hard. Up the Wolves

2. Tough loss today, let’s work hard in training to win 3 points next game. Up the Wolves

I remain convinced that it's a total waste of time for any player to have any form of social media.

He was the player who single handedly meant we had a chance of staying up when Vitor joined though.

If we hadn't had Cunha during GON then we'd have been relegated before Southampton.

He's a brilliant player but tomorrow I get to watch Munetsi instead. Can't wait to see Munetsi chase around and "press" 4 players without really getting close to any of them and relive it on the socials.

We had 9 pts when Vitor joined, and as others have pointed out, without those points we'd still be out of the bottom 3 now.

Not sure why everyone keeps crapping on Munetsi either while we're talking about Cunha? He obviously doesn't have an ounce of the latter's talent but it's not Cunha's talent that anyone ever questions

Same reason any goal we concede gets talked about as bad defending rather than good attacking.
