As I’m usually one of those, I hope you’re right!

Trincao comes with massive potential (maybe the most of any player we’ve signed, at least in the same ballpark as Neves), but I’ve no idea how well earned that is, and he certainly didn’t set Catalonia on fire. Equally, though, that club is a pit; even the likes of Griezmann and Dembele have been poor there.

Really tough to judge this acquisition but I suppose that’s part of why we made it a loan at first.

Correct, but you still have to wait for the day 5 result (suspect he can afford a quicker turnaround of result!). Also depends when he arrives in the country as that counts as day 0.

I'll say that my current expectation based on what I've read is that he'll likely look like Adama Mk.2 early on. What happens after that is probably down to how Lage sets us up.

Think his name has been mentioned on here before but that's literally the only reference I have, couldn't have told you anything about him, nationality, position or whatever else.

La Liga isn't broadcast by anyone in the UK anymore I don't think, not that I ever really watched much of it anyway to be honest. So that only leaves Champions League games as potential times I could've seen him, but again I can't tell you the last time I would've watched Barca in one of those either.

I'm not massively exposed to football these days, haven't played FIFA or PES since I moved into this house so that's about 4 years, don't think I've played FM in over 12 months either and even then I was playing a version that was maybe 5 years old by that point. Premier League and Champions League is about all I watch now, though even then it's nowhere near the quantity I would've done in years previous. I haven't even watched a single game of this summer's internationals all the way through yet, turned England off at 2-0 last night as seemed like job done and had other things I wanted to watch.

I'm not one for pretending I know these random names inside out when the reality is it could be some guy who lives two streets away for all I know.
