Saiss at fault too, but Donk just doesn't do anything at all.

Anyway I don't want this to turn into a bashing of Donk as largely he has been excellent this season, I just feel that at times he can switch off.

Conversely I thought he was awesome against Villa, in that particular game he won EVERYTHING.

He’s passing Lascelles on. It’s not his job. There’s like a 3 yards gap between Saiss and Coady. It’s their ball. Jota shouldn’t have given it away, Neves should have stopped the cross. Lascelles against Coady and Saiss is a mismatch. They don’t score if Boly plays and This is the issue with Coady playing CB. Small and weak, means we give up goals like this occasionally.

It’s a bad team goal. We don’t defend it well. Saiss leaves him and Donk doesn’t react. It’s bad from the whole team and I wouldn’t be singling him out.

If he has passed him on, he hasn't communicated that, and in my opinion he shouldn't just pass him on either, he has the opportunity to effect Lascelles run which would have stopped him scoring, he doesn't.


My initial post said partly or majorly at fault, I stand by that.

I hate the way Dendoncker turns his back when someone's taking a shot. It's a football not a cricket ball. Unacceptable.

Just my opinion.
