Watford Fan in Hospital

The incident has now made it to US media.

Obviously no one deserves this at a football match and I hope he recovers and quickly, but according to an eyewitness, he did start it. Mixed reports whether it was unprovoked or not.

The story started off that a bunch of Watford fans chased a couple of Wolves fans and that it was a Wolves fan hurt. Seems it was the other way round, so the provoked part of it is probably bullshit. Certainly seen more about this being a small group of Watford fans being targeted and that the punch that put him in hospital was done as he tried to run away and was hit in the back of the head.

Terribly sad news. My thoughts are with the Watford fan, and hopefully he makes a full recovery.

On the Cardiff forum, when we beat them at their place. They were going on about the cowardly Wolves fans, who were kicking the shit out of a Cardiff fan, on the floor, outside a pub in the town centre. They were going on about it for ages. Then, it turned out, that the bloke, who was getting kicked to shit on the floor, was a Wolves fan. kicked and stamped on, by several Cardiff fans.
It was a Cardiff fan who told the other Cardiff fans, on the forum , what really happened. The posters , who had blamed Wolves fans, never said anything else on the subject.
I am sure the truth wil come out in the end., but at the moment, you just have to hope this young man makes a full recovery.

Agreed about Cardiff was in the Prince of Wales last week and definitely not true. Lots of speculation about yesterday, I stand in SL1 and predicted trouble, but that's for another day just hope the guy makes a speedy recovery.

Regardless who did what there's a man seriously ill and young family going through hell as we speak and there's people responsible out there who need bringing to justice.

Agreed totally!

Absolutely Rhos. Very sad to think people associated with our club have been involved in this incident, but that is actually irrelevant tonight. All we can hope is the Watford fan can make a full and complete recovery. Then we can start worrying about those responsible.

This in Spades

Puts a different view on away days

Agree, irrespective of the circumstances just wish him well and a speedy recovery.

Most away games, setting off from North Wales, I travel on my lonesome but generally have good banter with fans, both on the train (including fans from many different clubs) and at the game. Seldom experience problems these days but not naïve enough to not know what's still occurring.

being picked up by a lot. Including Jake Humphries, who has donated. Also this guy

I'll donate all sales from http://footballmishmash.com 2night to Nick Cruwys, the #watfordfc fan attacked at Wolves.

The mishmash picture is ace I recommend it as a purchase

We have a little bit of history in that picture as well. I will be purchasing this picture..

Keep safe Rhos, see you at Brighton

Got one in the office

Billy Wright holding the FA Cup 1949 is in there. Robbie Keane in a Wolves top, there is also a fan wearing a Bully shirt in the stands. Think those are all of our references but I need to have a good look at it again this week.

Think Mick McCarthy is in it as well.

Once again the actions of a handful of people sully the name of our great club. So sad.
