Vitor sacked

The direct question to Jeff in that letter sounds something like Chris Kamara would have asked on soccer Saturday.

I'd like to see real fucking nasty hostility in the ground towards Shi, but it's gone past that, as they say, apathy is far more dangerous than anger. You see change with anger.

Question is, what do we realistically want? Something that is out of our and their control in the shape of a new, committed and financially capable owner or investor in the (traditional) sporting side. There is no other realistic hope for change, it’s simply asking them to stop being as shit as they are, which seems completely improbable.

I agree that it's likely futile, but there's no harm in trying.

However it is a badly worded and structured letter that looks like one person has written it with little other critique or input.

I disagree that there's no harm in trying. If you make a fool of yourself when you attempt to do anything like this you're never going to end up with a positive outcome.

I remember about 15 years ago I was massively fucked off at work and I wrote a long rambling email to my boss like that letter.

Got massively bollocked by him - not because of the letter itself but because it was a shit way of getting what I wanted. I remember to this day he basically sat me down and said 'If I was you, this is how Id write it', and then went through the process, reframing it in terms of problems v solutions, demands v outcomes etc.

I ended up leaving 6 months later anyway, but in my whole career that hour was more valuable than anything else.

Communication is the big issue here.
Jeff 'communicates' by issuing press releases (that fucks everyone off) and not in any other way as far as I know.
And the Fosun hierarchy above Jeff never communicate at all.
Regardless of how bad things are they just give Jeff a cup and saucer, a sick grin and push him out there.
It's so frustrating, regardless of how shit they are as owners and how little the understand the game.

I see little point in rushing the appointment when we have the International break coming up . We're hardly going to beat Chelsea either way . Keep talking to interested parties , but rushing to have it done and dusted for the fixture is not necessary .
The Premier League is still a big attraction , regardless of our position . There will still be a fair few people interested that we do not expect - and who knows , we might just get the right person .
We have a limited squad - we all know that , but those of us who are around a long time know a fair chunk of Managers who rise to this kind of a challenge , who get everyone rowing in the same direction , create a good team structure and a style of play that works and suits us .

The international break its perfect to work on the new tactic, position and roles. Need use it to get a mini pre-seasson using full all 2 weesk to it (in other location).... All new coach need time, and the Chelsea its a perfect rival to test the new tactics/lineups.

More fast join the new coach, better to start showing more fast the results.

I prefer working first 4 games whit the sub-21 team coach, and if get good results dont use money to get new coachs, use it on the winter market. But if they not have a lot confidence in the sub-21 coach, the best way is change it now.

And i think, a good planning for one team its that:

- Sub-21 a good coach with 35-40 years old with quality to cover the first coach or future coach of the first team.

The academy not are only to make player, need make too good coachs with option to train the first team.

Rejected by whom , club or manager ?
He is the there a good number of years.
Could easily come after the final if he wanted the gig .

The article says the manager and that he's set to sign a contract extension there

Teti going apparently
I mean, it makes absolutely perfect sense. Unless anyone actually believes he was in charge of the new manager search and his number one target was Gary O’Neil.

What a fucking six months employment that’s been.

Who was it that said he was a 'club appointment' and that he was staying? Ornstein?

Who takes over? Matt Jackson? Shi?

Who's leading the search for the new manager? Just Shi on his own now?

Ornstein is the one reporting he's going.
