Vitor sacked

Thanks to GON for having the sense to save us from himself I guess. Being shit is one thing, we don't need to take the piss out of ourselves whilst doing it.

Now let's find out which poor doomed idiot Jeff goes to next.

Really struggling to believe Edwards will take it. Seems insane even if his driver is to manage Wolves as he’ll have plenty of chances to do that from the end of this season onwards. Succeed with Boro and go up, or fail there and he has a job at Wolves if he wants.

We’ve got to be looking for a loose canon again.

We need a double appointment, new Manager and new Executive Chairman.

I think we're at the stage of the recruitment process where some of our more 'cerebral' fans start a campaign to appoint Bully as manager.

Already seeing plenty of people rolling out the 'maybe it's time to turn to Big Sam or Warnock (!)'

Do some people not know it's nearly 2026!?

I'm still catching up, so apologies if this has already been said, but what an astonishing position to find ourselves in...
After a summer where at least half a dozen players in Europe were approached, thought about it and then turned down the opportunity to play for us, we now have the unbelievable situation where a poor manager was sacked and having ludicrously been approached AGAIN, HE NOW TURNS US DOWN!!!
What a fantastic club we've turned out to be!

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call TWF...

I just want a manager everyone gets behind.

Good luck with that.

Anyone who takes the job now is either an idiot or a grifter. O'Neil would've leaned more towards the grifter end of the Idiot - Grifter Scale (Officially known as the 'Saunders Spectrum').

I'll have absolutely no respect for whoever joins us now. Whoever it is will either have been lied to by Shi and will be out of the door in 6 months when he needs a new scapegoat or only here to further his own end, whether that's for a quick buck or as a brief stepping stone to a better run club.

My only hope is that whoever takes it isn't a horrible prick like O'Neil or Lage or an embarrassment like Lopetegui or Zenga. The only thing I've ever wanted is just to be proud of the club, that seems to be a wild fantasy at the moment but while Fosun don't seem to be able to fulfill that basic wish, for the rest of the season I'd settle for just feeling sorry for our manager rather than actively hating him or cringing every time they spoke.

I’d snatch your hand off for a manager Isi g us as a brief stepping stone to a better run club. The only way they’ll do that is be a success. Even if such a manager didn’t keep us up to be in demand by other clubs they will have had to demonstrate some competency so would leave the club in a much better position than we are now.

I’d take Robbie Keane and set him a points target to trigger a long contract. I doubt anyone is keeping us up so the best we can hope for is someone who can start laying some foundations for a run at promotion next season.

Just hoping this new manager will take a look into the Academy and U21s, there are some gems in there that are not being looked at. Vitor bullshitted Matheus Mane into believing he would get first team minutes, so the next manager needs to address this.

WTF. This has to be a joke right?

'O’Neil was finalising his backroom staff and the club felt he was the ideal candidate to galvanise the squad after a dire start.'

Considering GON got a right random bunch of Charlies when he was hired under similar circumstances a few months into the season, I am not surprised to hear reports that Wolves staff including players were up in arms alongside the fans. Who in their right mind felt he was the ideal candidate to galvanise the squad? Since it is in effect a one man board the answer is clear - Jeff Shi.

This is complete and utter madness and makes me fearful that we have no money for a replacement with a good team of coaches.

The question therefore has to be asked, are we currently paying off Lopetegui and coaches, GON plus coaches and now Pereira plus his 8 coaches? That would easily make 20 staff fired and receiving Wolves money to compensate for their contracts? Is this where our supposed 30 million profit in the summer has gone?

Absolutely f****** ridiculous.
