Vitor sacked

The most stupid thing Jeff Shi has done during his time here is get rid of Nuno.

Reappointing GoN is several levels of stupid above even that. I just cannot understand a single reason why anyone would think this is a good idea.

Even the most ardent Shi-haters out there must be surprised at this one.

I mean if you were told in August last year GON would be in charge going into Xmas 2025 you would’ve assumed he had done a decent job. At no point would you think he’d been sacked and re hired.
If you had told us this August we’d only by on 2 points and GON was set to take over again you’d have laughed.

It's just the most low thought and effort move possible.

Beggars belief that some fans are actually trying to make out it's part of an actual plan, and not just the result of Shi's disinterest in his job and hatred of the fanbase

You could shit in those fans mouths and they'd beg for more whilst saying it's the best thing they've ever tasted.

Sack Nuno replace with Lage who had the shortest CV ever, keep Lage too long and replace him with the man you wanted at the start, break all promises to him then he leaves. Replace him with GON who does ok but falls off a cliff at the end of his first season, give him a big contract then you persist with him until the situation is beyond untenable and completely toxic. Replace him with VP who does a good job until April but nothing spectacular, you offer him a new deal after he’s lost 5 games in a row and allow things to go toxic again.
Your solution go back to the man who left things in as big a mess as exists now just 11 months ago. Seriously on what planet do you think that has changed to suggest this will turn around?
As said they just want a pair of hands to manage the relegation so it’s not too embarrassing.

If the cunning plan is to rehire him with vastly reduced pay off terms when he’s sacked compared to what he’s getting now and we sack him after a week, I could sort of see the logic.

Some fans were applauding VP less than a week ago. Some fans were singing Bruno Lage's name a couple of games before he was sacked.

Some suggestions that the players have pushed for GON to come back. All rumoured crap, but if true stinks of players wanting the country club feel and nice training sessions back.

Annoyingly GON returns and picks up about 23 points and people buy the crap if he’d started the season we’d have stayed up bollocks.
He’s then given the start of the championship season and is sacked again in November when we’re sat about 18th.

I feel a double relegation coming on again,

Jeff shi, told Jeff shi, who agrees with Jeff shi it’s a good idea

Maybe The Accountant who posted a while back was right and Fosun don't see us going down as being the end of the world.

Just can't get my head around the bigger picture. Otherwise it really does look like one bloke constantly pushing his luck and thinking we'll be OK.
