Be surprised if they can sustain that tbh. At least its given Putin a 'bloody nose' and given them something to think about. How the tables have turned.
Ukraine now invade into Russia
From what i've read, Putin has conscripts on the front-line, and they have about as much desire to fight for Russia as i doBe surprised if they can sustain that tbh. At least its given Putin a 'bloody nose' and given them something to think about.
No doubt the Ukraine army has more desire but Russia has the numbers and weapons unfortunately. From what i've read, Putin has conscripts on the front-line, and they have about as much desire to fight for Russia as i do
I don’t think Russia have fallen out with China or North Korea.Russia can't afford a conflict like this; they've barely been able to keep up already. They're also diplomatically isolated; they're not buds with China or DPR Korea anymore whereas Ukraine still has (sometimes reticent) support from "the West", as it were.
Ukraine don't need to sustain much on Russian soil for it to become a massive problem for Putin, IMV.
ThisI'd guess Ukraine's aim is to end the war by getting the Russian people to turn on Putin.
Suppose it's worth considering that the stories I've read will be biased in particular ways.I don’t think Russia have fallen out with China or North Korea.
No doubt Russia doesn’t see eye to eye on all matters but it’s a stretch to say they’re not buds anymore. China will continue to support Russia against Ukraine simply on the basis that “my enemies enemy is my friend “.Suppose it's worth considering that the stories I've read will be biased in particular ways.
Apparently the Russian government has decided that China is too capitalistic. Which, certainly China is not the communist economy some people think it is. Bit amusing from the outside.
Maybe, maybe not. Political philosophy was the tie that bound those countries IMV and China has reached a level where they likely don’t feel they need Russia weighing them down (whilst the Russians sneer at them for being too soft on the West). No doubt Russia doesn’t see eye to eye on all matters but it’s a stretch to say they’re not buds anymore. China will continue to support Russia against Ukraine simply on the basis that “my enemies enemy is my friend “.
I'm pretty sure Ukraine's aim isn't to conquer Russia and advance to Moscow. You'd think they simply want to expose the lack of truth coming out of the Kremlin's media and slam home the message that this is more than a 'special military operation', or whatever the terminology is that the Kremlin has been using.Russia will defend itself by its size and scorched earth as it always has. Ukraine arent going to be any more successful with an invasion than Napoleon or Hitler if they think they will be changing the flags in Moscow.
a limited bloody nose for Putin is still a good thing though.
Napoleon didn't have challenger tanks :-DRussia will defend itself by its size and scorched earth as it always has. Ukraine arent going to be any more successful with an invasion than Napoleon or Hitler if they think they will be changing the flags in Moscow.
