UEFA Nations League & Euro 2020 Qualification

Its Tyldesley not Pougatch. Still talking phenomenal amounts of utter cock though.

Get Rose off. He’s a red card waiting to happen

Sancho off for Rashford. The sort of substitution that gives every fan MASSIVE WOOD

Hoddle is just saying why we’ve all just seen, offers very little insight. Tyldsley is just so patronising commentates like no ones ever watched football before.

Czechs have deserved that. Let's hope Southgate and England see the limitations of this style and players.

Seriously who’s picking up the bloke who scores? Entire back line is virtually on the goal line when the goal goes in.

Absolutely. Should be the last time we see Keane play for England. Rice nor Mount should be at this level yet, just nowhere near good enough.

I wasn't a huge fan of the 3 at the back system we played at the WC, but at least it suited the players. Maguire and Keane are not good enough to be a 2 at this level.

I think we have the players for the formation but you can't pick a midfield with no creativity which kills any style of play you want to impose on the game.

In theory Rice could drop into a back 3 but thenyou need a midfielder who can control the central area and Mount's invisibility cloak seems to work a treat.

No complaints with the result, we created a bit more in the second half (Kane was one of the few who can say he played well) but so short on composure, intensity and invention overall. Plus we have a back four that isn't fit for purpose, Rose has been on a downward trajectory for a couple of years and Keane simply isn't anything like good enough. Rice, too one paced and negative on the ball.

We're normally much better than that and we'll clearly qualify with ease so not too concerned, but every international game from here is an audition for the squad next summer. A few are putting themselves out of contention.

Might be the wake up call they need, as DW says the back 4 is a mess Keane and Rose need to moved on and replaced by Gomez and Chillwell. Keane shouldn’t be near the squad let alone the side in no order Gomez, Tomori, Mings, Coady, Tarkowski, Mee, Dunk and some others would be more competent than him.
Rice again I just don’t get the media hype, Henderson distribution was appalling.
Kane and sterling tried to make things happen with scraps.
Currently I think this sides glass ceiling is a semi final, once at that level top nations will be able to pick us off.

Plenty in the paper and media about Southgate moving back to 3 at the back for more solidity.

Without Stones or Coady it'll be some 90s style shitefest back 3 with the creativity of Pulis era Stoke.

Ive read that it will be after the next game as he doesn't have the players in this squad.

Hopefully, he comes to watch Coady and he has a decent game. The last time he did -Chelsea, he put in his worst performance under Nuno

3 at the back isn't the problem. That smacks of a manager who had no idea what his issues are.

Dropping Keane for a competent defender would be a good start along with picking a more creative midfield to control tempo and play.

Play at a higher tempo and stop trying to play out from the back if your midfield provides no options for the defenders receiving the ball.

These are all fixable in the current formation.

I still think Douthgate's a bang average manager.
