Iran saying they will never cede control of the straits of hormuz. I see that as a declaration that even if there were to be a deal, it would give Iran the go ahead to charge everyone to pass through. So either the West pays through the nose or takes out the regime.
One is unacceptable, the other madness. He's gunna drag us all in one way or another.
Or am I catastrophising in the extreme?
