The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if Trump’s health isn’t significantly worse than has been let on (obviously there have been various rumors and such).

Trump sucked shit in term one, no doubt, but what’s happening now is violently unhinged in a way that he has never, ever been before.

Why the fuck he isn't in cuffs right now is beyond me.

Probably not legally. Even if the 25th amendment was invoked it would probably take time. Depends how many lives are worth paying. As long as the US isn't paying them the answer is probably pretty high.

It would almost certainly have to be related to Epstein; the weird “illegal shit is okay of it’s vaguely presidential” ruling from SCOTUS means that even a respectable DOJ could have a hard time doing anything with him for anything other than the pedophilic sex trafficking.

He could and should have been impeached months ago, but Republicans just… I can’t wrap my head around how badly they have folded in the face of Trump’s whims.

Is it possible there were still one or two in key positions last time who when it came to the crunch were America first and baulked the more unhinged things (Particularly election/Jan 6th) but now he's surrounded himself with people who are Trump first?

That’s absolutely part of it; his Cabinet is significantly more sycophantic this time around, but that still falls on Congressional Republicans for confirming the likes of Noem, Bondi, Hegseth… Why he didn’t try to install them the first time, I couldn’t say.

Sadly, very few Republicans are willing to give a straight answer to “who won the 2020 election”, even now.

A recall one commentator saying things could change when the Primary elections are closed as after that Trump can't work to remove them. Unfortunately that is September in some cases as the Primaries run from March to September.

International criminal court surely could prosecute him for the murder of innocent fishermen in the Caribbean? He willingly provided the evidence while gloating in a press conference and it has been established those people were not drug runners.
