So the request for allies to police the strait was a "test" but Trump. Oh go fuck off. You expected them to come running because of your biggly threats and now they haven't you are scrabbling for a way out

This needs a joint statement from all the named countries saying they will not join in his war, they will not police hormuz, they will only commit any action to defend their own interests, roundly condemn the US and Israeli action in the strongest words possible, and Starmer should add a PS with "off you trot out of our airbases, they are now off limits".
 
There are divisions within Maga over 3 things and these are slowly eating away at his support:
Epstein
Israel
War
Different factions on the right all claim to be following the true Maga principles and trumps response is that Maga is whatever he says it is.
It is starting to look as though he will need to reach out to the different factions within the republican party to keep them on his side, but firstly that is not his nature and secondly the fear of defeat in the November elections is starting to cause panic.
I would say that the arguments over what maga really stands for will provide a means for the right to desert trump without losing face. Politicians and ordinary voters will be able to abandon trump whilst claiming that their loyalty was always to Maga not the man.
 
With Iran retaliation to Israels attack on the gas field it really shows how bad Americas military intelligence services have been in this war. Or maybe that was ok but Trump ignored them and is even more of a fuckwit than we thought...hard to believe I know.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the latter.

Tucker Carlsen (I know) was out here saying that Trump truly believes that this war has 90% public approval. Just throwing that out there. Which is to say, who knows how much of the truth Trump himself is aware of.

That is quite likely. Very neat explanation for why he gets so upset when championship sports teams always seem to be having their hair done when he invites them round for tea.
