Trump

That is sooooo him. His musing thoughts and flip-flopping, while basically confirming the main reason behind his little war is oil (well that, and he can't control Netanyahu at all without losing the mid terms horribly).

He is "disappointed" in the UK. Well, fucking good. May he long stay disappointed, the war mongering fool.
Starmer's finest moment by far as PM has been not getting too involved. There are few PMs in my lifetime that would have had the bollocks to say no.

His speech yesterday was full of delusions, in regards to nato saying he has 45k troops in a nato state protecting them. Which one is that Don? Oh yeah it’s South Korea which isn’t part of NATO.
This attitude we in Europe should be eternally grateful to America.
He really doesn’t get what NATO is either, it’s a defensive pact to protect member states if attacked by non member state. It’s not there to attack countries way outside the neighbourhood of NATO.
His delusional statements make him a dangerous man.
Realisation is hitting home that Bombing the crap out of Iran isn’t going to force regime change it requires a ground war.
The straight of Hormuz is proving very problematic and one he probably didn’t consider.
He’s now blaming everyone else for his own war.

He also takes great pleasure in demonstrating his prejudice against those with mental disorders is right up there with his rampant sexism and racism. What an absolute fucking cunt of a man.

I had a read of the comments under the Times article about Trump’s latest diatribe, usually it’s a sewer of typical right wing nonsense. This time pretty much every one is praising Starmer. It’s very odd.

Trump sees everything as a deal. He thought bombing Iran would result in an internal uprising despite every expert saying it wouldn’t. Now it hasn’t achieved that he’s stuck. He’s going to have to talk to Iran and stop bombing them as they’ve got the world’s bollocks in a vice-like grip and more bombing be will just tighten that grip. The Straits of Hormuz will remain closed until Iran agrees to stop attacking shipping so time for his own people and “allies” to tell him the hard to hear truth that the solution is not openin g the SoH whilst ships are under attack but to stop the attacks which will necessitate talking and reaching agreement with Iran. Killing more of their leaders will only make this more stand ensure the crisis goes on for a lot longer. Once there’s a ceasefire mine clearance can start.

I should point out that if the war was started 47 years ago, it was Jimmy Carter rather than Obama or Biden who started it (he obviously didn't - he mishandled the Iran hostage crisis and hey presto it was Reagan time).

Oh and now the lunatic Trump says he is going to take Cuba. Vote with a fucking bullet America. The twat is certifiable.

So Obama started the war when he was in his teens? Impressive stuff

If you want to look for a starting point of the Iranian revolution I would probably look at the installation of the Shah as a supreme ruler and deposition of the legitimate Iranian leader Mossadegh in 1953. That was us under Churchill and US under Eisenhower. Obama would have been involved, but he was minus eight at the time.

If that is real there needs to be a check of the US Constitution for what to do when the President is demonstrably insane.
I've thought a lot about this.

Like how quickly Truss was removed for her performance, which is not even remotely as bat shit as Trump.

How is there not a mechanism in the US to kick his arse out of power?

How is there not a lever in the US?
Because Truss wasn't elected, her Party was. They elect Presidents as individuals not parties.
