Will watch results all night Tuesday and probably not get much sleep. Absolutely dreading four more years. Democracy is at stake (though Alan is correct to say it is oligarchy not actual democracy), trump represents so much of what is wrong with capitalism, extreme wealth, fascism, sheer greed, ignorance, selfishness, the facebook era, anti-intellectualism, bullying, racism, sexism, the american constitution, privilege, cronyism, nepotism, and a million other isms and character faults.

He wants all results to be announced Tuesday night, even though that is totally impossible and some states don't start counting mail-in ballots until the following day or will still accept them if postmarked Nov 3 or earlier. I can envisage him claiming victory that night as republican voters are more likely to vote on the day. Then when all votes are tallied he can claim fraud if he is no longer the winner.

If he wins there will be rioting and looting in big cities. If he loses then f**k knows what his terrorist supporters will try.

He has to lose, and lose badly, but I am so shit scared.
