Thought for April 28 v Sheff Wed

has anyone booked a box before ? whats the procedure ? does it need to be a STH ?

No, you just need to contact the commercial department. It's one of the options on the main Wolves number. If one of the guys going has a Vat registered business then I'd suggest they book it [emoji6]

Can’t claim V.A.T back on entertaining. That would be tax evasion, tut, tut.

If anyone is going to take this on then will need sufficient guarantees of attendance/payment as suspect that none of can afford to take the risk of covering the whole cost

Steve Bull boxes appear to take 8 (WV1 Quadrant - private suite & balcony takes 34 though suspect that is too many even for us)

Would be prepared to make inquiries, but not laying out any cash without certainty of reimbursement (& preferably with cash in hand from others upfront)

Yeah gotta be cash up front, first come first served surely. I'll decide within seconds of knowing how much it is!

I’m guessing it will be £800+V.A.T for the last game of the season.

I agree. Get the financial committment. If for whatever reason someone drops out then 'tough'.

Would be up for this. Probably more chance of guaranteeing a seat in a box with you lot than the actual ground!

could send my money by bank transfer immediately

Have been busy all today. Up for the Cup game & staying over

Will make some inquiries early next week as to options/costs

I'm assuming this won't be on WolvesTV? Or more specifically the full match footage won't be up after?

Just booked my flights for this, the last home match of the season, and wondered what the possibility of enough forum guys getting together for a box ? how many can you have in one ?
Anyone interested ?

Bear in mind this won't be 3pm on a Saturday as we'll be getting the trophy so will be on tele

last home game + trophy presentation? that could be fun.

lets check some flight prices...

edit -- woof like $700. :(

Right - options for this (have not been prepared to make any commitment as they will not take a provisional booking to be confirmed say 7 days later, & whilst they were happy to invoice after the booking as we are from a supporter group it's still a committed booking - availability is still there though we shouldn't hang about much if this is to happen - probably need to make a booking within the next 10 days max)

Have discounted the WV1 Quadrant as need to guarantee 30 & suspect that that is not achievable

Steve Bull Box - 8 places
Cost £103.50 per head (box cost is £690 + VAT for a 'Gold game')

Provides - Finger buffet (option to upgrade to a 2 or 3 course meal (av £19 - £30)
half time tea/coffee
use of cash bar
2 car park passes
complimentary programmes
full waitress service
betting facilities

International Restaurant/Presidents Lounge/WV1 Restaurant

Tables available in any size up to 10 - similar benefits from any of them though costs differ

Int - £108 per head
Presidents - £126 per head
WV1 - £120 per head

what you get - welcome drink on reception
reserved table
3 course menu
pre match entertainment
padded seat in the Billy Wright Upper (Stan Cullis for the WV1 restaurant)
half & full time refreshments
complimentary programmes
car parking (1 per 4 seats booked)
cash bar
waitress service
betting facilities

If this is to happen then a box in the Steve Bull seems the most sensible - first come first served (if you want to upgrade to a full meal then it would be up to the individual to sort out) - if the match is moved date or time wise & someone who has paid up cannot make the revised time then this is not an issue as the club do not need names of individual attendees - though clearly whoever makes the booking will be known. However you will need to book/pay at your own risk & if you cannot attend then it is up to you to sell on & get reimbursed (though if I am booking you would need to let me know)

I would be interested & if anyone else is then please speak now - if there is sufficient interest then I will PM as appropriate to give info on where money should be sent as I'm not prepared to pay out without the funds in (as long as we move quickly there should still be availability, but if for any reason this is not so then monies will be returned)
