The Video Games Thread II - The Resurrection

Downloaded the Vietnam pack for BFBC2 last night.. Great fun, tanks with loudspeakers blasting out
60's tunes while going mad with flamethrowers, while been strafed by Hueys playing ride of the valkyries. Makes a great game even greater.

I think i've got Bad Company 2 somewhere but not sure i've ever got round to playing it.

At the minute i'm way too excited about Konami adding some Mizuno boots to PES2011, sad i know.

BAd Company 2 is an awesome game. I might just have to download that. How many Microsoft Points is it?

Same, if it's a decent price (PC) I might well be tempted.

Just ordered my new 360 too, I've picked up Bioshock 2 off Ebay for about £6 and Forza 3 (Ultimate).

Hopefully it'll be delivered before I go back to work, I feel some late night drunken gaming coming on...

I can't wait.

me neither. I lived on daggerfall for a couple years. loved morrowind but didn't get round to playing oblivion. my only issue is whether i'll have the time to invest.....

Alright, thought I'd ressurect this! Good game t'other night toon and langdale. I'll probably be on Wednesday night next but I will definately get a better mic!! On another note, has anyone played the most recent assassins creed (Brotherhood). Is it any good? Is it exactly the same as the last one but in Rome?

I had it for christmas with my PS3 but i've not got round to playing it yet as i've been glued to GT5, one of my mates has played it though and he said it was a good game.

Got AC Brotherhood, pretty much a straight continuation of ACII more of the same really with a few tweaks.

Picked up Heavy Rain for a tenner from Gamestation not bad but completed it in very quickly (not a long game) bit crap to be honest Fahrenhite on the PS2 was a much longer and more interesting. Neither though are really games though more like interactive movies.

Fahrenheit was a very weird game. Enjoyed it though.

It certainly was, never finished it though as had it saved on my PS3 hard drive which then broke, after some idiot repeatedly hit it with his fist in a (non Fahrenheit related) fit of pique.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood WILL be purchased, but I'm waiting for it to come down in price. I loved AC II.

Right now, I can't seem to stop playing Black Ops! (Toon - I wasn't on last night as we had a nice family night seeing as the wife and daughter came home - if I get chance, I might jump on tonight).

I'm just entering the fray on Black Ops, my lad has been playing it since it came out and it does look good. However I still find myself straying back to my old favorite Warhawk.

Ha ha!! Game rage, gotta love it...

I had a few games with Codfather, Worra and Furry last night- I was utterly terrible. I always seem to really struggle after I prestige! Might not bother again, just so I can keep my nice loadouts!

I normally do, but bizarrely I've done really well after prestiging this time.

I'm currently loving Fifa 11.

I have just completed my second season as Wolves Player/Manager in Career Mode and finished as treble winners - The Premier League, FA Cup & Champions League (although it's not called that...)

Because of this I was given a shed load of money to spend in the close season, which I have, and my starting 11 is now looking like this -

------------------------Hennessey------------------
Van Der Weil------Cahill-------Berra-------Zubar
Walcott-----------Beckham----Milijas---------Elia
------------------Santa Cruz----Doyle-------------

Subs - Jääskeläinen, De Laet, Elokobi, Kightly, P. Neville, Fletcher, Adriano

Gary Cahill is an absolute beast.
Van Der Weil is very quick and gets forward down the right well (in real life Man City are supposidly after him).
Eljero Elia is a dutch international in real life. On this, he's bloody quick and very skillful.
Santa Cruz is very good in the air but I mix him up with Adriano who has an absolute mint of a left foot and I have lost count of the goals I've smashed in from outside the box with him.

I signed Phil Neville because I wanted to bulk my squad up a bit. He is extremely good in the tackle.

Do not try to play team-based games at this time of day on Black Ops..

Fuck me, there are some useless wankers out there.
