Everton are using the Gordon money to try and buy Conor Gallagher. As an effective swap that would be great business and he'll suit a Dyche side. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have better options though
Newcastle are sniffing around Gallagher too. Apparently he wants to stay in London but if he is to go you would imagine that Newcastle would be a better option for him.

Can see Gallagher going back to Palace on loan. They want him back but can't afford to sign him.

If Everton spunk the entire Gordon fee on Gallagher and DCL breaks again they are fucked

As a one in one out thing, then yes I'd rather have Gallagher than Gordon, especially in a Dyche team.

But equally if I'm an Everton fan then I'd want to buy more than one player with that money as they're shit, and they don't appear to have any other way of spending.

RE Cancelo, City fans been moaning about his performances first half of the season, saying he's been a big weak link for them so maybe not as much of a surprise to those within the club.

Gallagher has looked pish this season tbh. I know he was good last year for Palace but I don't see the hype with him.

I also don't get the hype with DCL at all. As mid as they come, IMO.

He had a great patch of both fitness and goals when managed by Ancelotti. He is the only manager to get anything decent out of DCL, mind.

A fit DCL is the perfect modern day centre forward. He hasn't been for 18 months or so and even though he's playing doesn't look fit now. Perhaps he never will again

Gallagher has been appalling every time I've seen him this season, whether it's the pressure of the big club or the different way games are set playing in the dominant side but he's been uselessly just running into people and all sorts. Not sure he's the sure thing now that he looked whilst at Palace, then again Jeff Hendrick did a decent job for Dyche for a while by doing little more than running a lot.

Out of contract in June and won't be staying.

Like we might accept £1m for Adama now. Doesn't necessarily mean he'd leave though. If he sits it out and waits a mere handful of months (getting paid all the way along, of course) then he'd probably get a better contract moving somewhere on a free.

Twitter (I know, I know) also seems to think he's fallen out with the board there because they brought Lacazette back.
