The Transfer Thread 2022/23- Everything not Wolves

Don't think they have got their target to replace him sorted so maybe a delaying tactic from Sporting.

Messy situation going on between Arsenal/Brighton & Caicedo. Arsenal have offered £70m and Brighton turned it down "within minutes".

You have to respect Brighton and the way they're ran as a club. They've sold Bissouma, Cucurella, White, Trossard, Mwepu, Burn & lost Graham Potter. Caicedo has acted like a bellend, posting that he's "proud" to bring in a record transfer fee etc.

Fair play to Brighton for sticking to their guns. Always nice to see Arsenal being brought down to earth.

If a relegation rival want Saiss and Boly in their back 4 then I'm all for it

Something has gone on there, second name after Ederson on the team sheet last season

Pep just likes doing weird shit.

Or if you're into your conspiracy theories, the deal City did with Juve for Cancelo was veeeeery iffy (massively overvaluing Danilo, who is shit) and they want him off the books before UEFA come sniffing...

Yep definitely odd, he'd not been as good this year but seems like something has occurred behind the scenes.

Pep seems to have a massive problem with fullbacks in any case, City have gone through so many since he took over.

Everton are using the Gordon money to try and buy Conor Gallagher. As an effective swap that would be great business and he'll suit a Dyche side. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have better options though
